After the contract renewal signed by Auteri, Benevento is ready to define the situation of the players whose contracts are expiring. Masciangelo has reached an agreement with Cittadella, while there are no particular doubts about Ciano, whose adventure in Sannio can already be considered concluded. The various Ciciretti, Improta, Terranova and Manfredini remain in doubt. When discussing possible confirmations, the statistics relating to the players used can help in the starting lineups who took to the field in the 25 matches in which the Sicilian coach sat on the Giallorossi bench.
The most present of all is Berra with 24 tokens. Excluding Paleari who has 22 appearances, immediately after Berra there are Capellini (20) and Lanini (19). Improta was also among the most used, with 18 appearances. Even more important is the analysis of the numbers of the players who were chosen less in the starting lineups, such as Ferrante (6) and Marotta (3): the data is indicative, especially if we consider that both were the starters of the Andreoletti’s attack in the first round.
