Bergamo is ready to welcome the passage of the 1000 Miglia 2024, today, between 4pm and 4pm, during the first stage of the great motor caravan which, having left Brescia in the morning, after the city break will head towards Monza and Novara, before stop in Turin.

Specifically, the entrance to the city will be from via Lunga, coming from Seriate. The caravan will then travel along via Rosa, via Piatti, via Borgo Palazzo, piazza Sant’Anna, turn into via Mai, viale Papa Giovanni and then take viale Vittorio Emanuele. From here we will travel through the Conca d’Oro tunnel, via Rosmini, via Villa Santa and Grataroli, then largo Barozzi: the runners will enter the Accademia della Guardia di Finanza, where they will stop for the traditional “stamping”. You exit from Piazzetta Marcovigi, then enter via XXIV Maggio, via Corpo Italiano di Liberazione, from here via Curie, via Pasteur, then via Briantea towards Curno.

The other stages

On the second day, the convoy will begin the descent southwards over the Langhe and through the center of Acqui Terme before heading to Genoa, an absolute novelty of the 1000 Miglia 2024, where the crews will stop for lunch. Continuing on the Tyrrhenian coast, the race will reach the finish line in Viareggio.

The third stage will see the descent towards the capital: the race will turn towards the hinterland passing from Lucca to the lunch break in Castiglione della Pescaia. In the afternoon the entry into Lazio with the passage through Marta, Viterbo and Ronciglione and the conclusion in Rome in via Veneto.

With the fourth stage the crews will go up to Orvieto and then Solomeo, location of the lunch. After the break it will be the turn of Siena and Prato and the Futa and Raticosa passes, which will precede the arrival in San Lazzaro di Savena (Bologna). On the final day of Saturday 15 June the route will touch Ferrara, Bovolone and VillaFranca, then Lake Garda with Valtenesi and Salò to finish with the classic walkway in Viale Venezia.
