Ballot a Caltanissetta, the only provincial capital to vote in Sicily, where the voters of 37 Municipalities went to the polls for the administrative elections. In the eight municipalities where the proportional system voted, whoever obtains more than 40% in the first round is elected, as required by the electoral law. The turnout was 58.05%.
In the municipality of Nisseno, Walter Tesauro, candidate of the centre-right (7 lists) will go to the second round with 34%, and the civic citizen Annalisa Petitto with 30%, (also supported by the PD without symbol) also supported by 7 lists. Third is the outgoing M5S Roberto Gambino with 28% and with the support of three lists including Cateno De Luca’s South calls North.
TO Frost (Caltanissetta) the centre-right candidate Grazia Cosentino – supported by the Lega, Italia Viva and Fratelli d’Italia lists – is in the lead with 31.55% of the votes followed by Terenziano di Stefano – at the head of a coalition with M5S, Action, Let’s start from scratch, Pd, PCI, Ideas in motion, South calls North and two lists – with 28.11% of the votes. Salvatore Scerra, also a centre-right candidate, follows them with 24.52% of the votes.
