He had been arrested following a condominium dispute for having attacked the police. But when he was brought before the judge, he literally went into a rage, to the point of having to be stopped and transferred to hospital.
It happened around 11.30 this morning, Tuesday 11 June, at the Tivoli Court.
According to the first information collected by the online newspaper of the Northeastern city Tiburno.Tv, the protagonist is a 50-year-old Italian from Castelnuovo di Porto accused of resisting a public official: the man was arrested yesterday by the police who were attacked after having intervened to quell a violent neighborhood dispute.
This morning the 50-year-old was taken to court for the hearing to validate the arrest, but once in the cell he exploded into a fit of violence.
It seems that he was accompanied to the bathroom, but once inside he partially undressed and railed against the police again.
At that point, other law enforcement agencies and the security guards from “Puma Security” responsible for monitoring the Palace of Justice intervened.
Once blocked, the 50-year-old was transported to the “San Giovanni Evangelista” hospital in Tivoli to evaluate his condition and undergo any mandatory health treatment.
