The Puglia Region will participate in We Make Future, the International Fair on AI, Tech & Digital Innovation scheduled in the pavilions of Bologna Fiere from 13 to 15 June.
The We Make Future program includes over 100 training, business and entertainment events related to Artificial Intelligence, Social Media, Advertising, E-commerce, Brands, Content Creators. Over 1,000 speakers and more than 3,000 startups and open innovation stakeholders from all over the world will present examples of innovation in the fields of artificial intelligence, technology and digital.
Together with Basilicata, Calabria and Emilia – Romagna, Puglia will be among the regions that have chosen to attend the WMF, together with Arti Puglia and InnovaPuglia, to present themselves to the global innovation ecosystem. For the occasion, the Region will set up a space dedicated to the recording and broadcast of a thematic podcast. An opportunity to communicate regional strategies in the digital field (but not only), as well as to establish and renew important synergies, thanks to the presence of international pavilions such as Hong Kong, Dominican Republic, Switzerland, Ukraine, Greece, Spain and the United Kingdom.
In the context of the international fair, ARTI Puglia – Regional Agency for Technology and Innovation, after launching a call for action aimed at Apulian startups, has selected the companies that will present their innovative digital idea operating in different sectors in Bologna. An exhibition space will also be dedicated to companies, designed to offer visitors their products.
Among the objectives of the Puglia Region will be the presentation of the strategy for attracting and promoting talents #mareAsinistra, stay, return, arrive. Come and work in Puglia”.
The illustration of the regional talent attraction strategy, scheduled for 14 June, will be entrusted to Cristiano Carriero, speaker of the WMF, founder of La Content and ambassador of Mare aleft and with interventions by Rocco De Franchi (Special Institutional Communication Structure) , by Gianna Elisa Berlingerio (Economic Development Department) and Silvia Visciano (Research and International Relations Section of the Puglia Region).
“An idea, or if we want a utopia, that of Puglia as a place to be, which has become a strategy thanks to concrete actions dedicated to students, digital nomads, businesses and professionals, people who dream of living in Puglia” declares the councilor for Economic Development.
PugliaSviluppo will present the facilitation tools to support the attraction of investments in Puglia, for all sizes of companies. In particular, large companies – already beneficiaries of a program contract – will present their investment plans with attention to their hiring plans and, in particular, to the professional profiles of interest, in order to attract talents who come to live in Puglia.
The Economic Development Department will share the path undertaken to build a reference framework aimed at directing the various regional initiatives to be financed with the funds available and creating the best conditions for the digital development of society. The intent is to strengthen growth opportunities economic, technological and social, in perfect coherence with the regional S3 and the #mareAsinistra strategy through some best cases by the in-house company InnovaPuglia.
Furthermore, the 118 deaf App will be presented and promoted, the innovative system that allows deaf citizens, or those unable to communicate verbally, to independently access the 118 Territorial Health Emergency Service of the Puglia Region.
Among the innovative proposals in the field of the Health Service of the Puglia Region as a governance tool, the MOSS will be presented, the Single Administrative Accounting System of the SSR of the Puglia Region based on a «Holding-Subsidiaries» model, which makes data available in real-time to support expenditure monitoring and internal control. For the governance of the information assets managed by MOSS, a Data Analytics & Business Intelligence solution has been created which provides the Corporate and Regional Strategic Managements with an effective monitoring, analysis and planning tool.
