“As Provincial President of FdI TarantoI feel even more strongly the responsibility of leading the most supported party in the 29 Municipalities of our province and which stood at 28.83%.
Evidently, FdI also represents a solid point of reference in the Ionian region and for which citizens’ expectations are high, also with respect to the role that Italy will continue to play in Europe. Many actions have already been undertaken since this Government has been in office. Several times, just to mention the most significant ones, we have defended Italian products in Brussels, claiming their uniqueness and excellence. We made our voice heard on green homes, highlighting that it cannot burden family budgets and that the adaptation of Italian homes, largely historic, cannot be subjected to the same regulations as those in Northern Europe.
From today, with the newly elected MEPs of FdI we will be even more incisive and we will also bring the requests that come from our territory to the European Parliament. I therefore thank all the FdI Taranto circles for the work done and above all the citizens because, once again, they have placed their trust in us. I am sure that our representatives, Francesco Ventolathe most supported on the Fdi list in Taranto and its province with almost 9 thousand personal preferences, Michele Picaro And Maria Chiara Gemma (she should be there too) they will know how to listen to our land and will be its spokesperson.”
