Ritmika reaches its 28th edition and changes dates: from September it moves to June.. It thus becomes the opening festival of the musical season in Piedmont, confirming itself as the first performance space for established musicians And emerging groups. On the stage set up at PalaExpo of Moncalieri (TO), in the former Foro Boario, Piazza del Mercato 3 bis) Colapesce Dimartino + Marco Castello (June 12th), Emma for the first date of his summer tour (June 13), Aries, opening act: Jupiter (14 June) and, finally, closing party with Mega90 and the three finalists of Ritmika Talentthe first edition of the music contest for young emerging artists (15 June).

After the release of the long-awaited critically acclaimed album “Lux Eterna Beach” (Numero Uno/Sony Music) and after a winter tour that recorded numerous sold outs, Colapesce Dimartino they return with “Lux Eterna Beach Estate 2024”. Lorenzo and Antonio: two friends, two of the most sought after and important song writers on the Italian scene of the last decade. They returned to the Ariston stage in 2023 after the extraordinary success of “Musica Leggerissima” (certified quintuple Platinum) and their first album together “I Mortali” (certified Gold). Last November 3rd, “Lux Eterna Beach” was released, the duo’s second album, preceded by “Cose da Crazy”, the Sanremo single “Splash”, “Considera”, “La luce che grazes the beach put everyone in awe agreement”, “Right-wing boy” and “Sex and Architecture”. An eagerly awaited return for the couple, which arrived after the extraordinary success of “Splash” – the song that won the Mia Martini Critics Award and the Lucio Dalla Award at the 2023 edition of the Sanremo Festival, and which was decreed song of the year for Rolling Stone Italia – and their film debut with “The Spring of My Life”, an immediate cult movie, winning numerous awards such as the Nastro D’Argento for the “best original soundtrack” and the Golden Globe.
Marco Castello he is a musician and songwriter from Syracuse. With his first album “Contenta tu” (2021, Bubbles records/42 Records) he is appreciated in Italy and abroad and boasts numerous collaborations, including Erlend Oye & La Comitiva, Nu Genea, Fulminacci, Mace, Colapesce Dimartino. Particularly fond of the sounds of the Seventies, he meticulously researches the naturalness of the instruments he plays, reducing the use of effects and post-production as much as possible. His language is ironic and perpetually seduced by the contrast between contemporary beauty and squalor, which coexist alternating in the irreverent tale of a universal provincialism. In autumn 2023 he released his second album “Pezzi della sera” independently, founding the Megghiu Suli label in Syracuse.
GThursday 13 June, Ritmika hosts the first stop of the summer tour di Emma, after the launch of the new single “Femme Fatale” and the success of “Apnea”, the song presented at the 2024 Sanremo Festival, written by Emma herself together with Paolo Antonacci, Davide Petrella and Julien Boverod (aka Jvli) who is also the producer of the song. “Femme Fatale” arrives a year after “Mezzo Mondo” (platinum record), the first single which anticipated the release of the latest album of unreleased songs “Souvenir” (gold record). It was a very intense year musically for Emma and full of great successes, including the Sanremo song “Apnea” (platinum certified) which currently maintains a very important position in the Italian music and radio charts: #14, 3 months after its release. “Souvenir”, on the other hand, a week after its release, entered directly into first place in the official FIMI/GfK ranking of best-selling records, making Emma the third Italian female artist to reach the top of the ranking in 2023.
Friday 14 June, at the PalaExpo in Moncalieri, Ariete with “The Summer Night”. Stage name of Arianna Del Ghiaccio, born in 2002, she has established herself in the Italian musical panorama with her melancholic imprint and a unique and personal style. The strong character mixed with a simple and direct style manages to create intimate and rarefied atmospheres, making Ariete the spokesperson of “Bedroom pop”. Opening act: Giovethe Turin singer-songwriter born in ’99 who moves between indie rock and alternative songwriting and who looks to the harmonies of Lana del Ray and the melodies of The Neighborhood.
Saturday 15 Junethe 28th edition of Ritmika ends with the closing party with free entry which includes the screening of the Italy-Albania match, the first of the European Championships in Germany 2024, the Mega90 party, a 90s themed party, and the live challenge between the 3 finalists of Ritmika Talent, the first edition of the music contest for young emerging artists. Ritmika has always given space to new voices and this year, in collaboration with 45° NORD, is promoting a real competition in the spaces of the center gallery in the two weekends preceding the Festival (31 May, 1, 7, 8 June) to give space to new talents. A jury will identify the 3 finalists who will go on stage at the PalaExpo in Moncalieri among the selected artists who performed at 45° NORD.
In addition to new voices, Ritmika wants to reward young talents also in the artistic field and has entrusted creativity for the first time to the students of 500 Factory Thesign, Comics & Arts Academy Florence, a community of creatives in training, under the creative direction of Noir Studio .
