Roberto Gemmi: “Cosenza, our paths diverge but not by my will”

Roberto Gemmi say hello Cosenza. He does so with gratitude and esteem, also specifying that his priority and desire for him would be to continue the path started two years ago. The now former rossoblu sporting director released this message:

“Dear Cosentini,
Hi everyone!
It’s difficult to express the emotions I feel these days and also to think that I will no longer be the sporting director of Cosenza.
It wasn’t what I expected, it wasn’t what I wanted.
Cosenza, contrary to what they told me before arriving here, is a wonderful place.
Deep friendships were born here, I met extraordinary people and people I love.
Our paths will part, but not by my will.
It was never a question of money, but, for me, only of the heart.
I waited, in vain and well beyond the limit, for a response to my calls.
In the end, I was forced to give myself an answer and I didn’t want it to be this one.
Now a new adventure awaits me that gives me a lot of energy and adrenaline, Armando and I are grateful and proud of it and can’t wait to get started.
I want to greet and thank everyone, hoping not to forget anyone. I thank the club, Kevin, the secretary, the medical staff, the players, the coaches and their staff, the headquarters staff, the warehouse workers, the legendary stewards Marcello and Giorgio and all the professionals involved.
I am proud to have worked in this club, in this city that has become my home and will continue to be.
The biggest hug goes to you fans, thank you for encouraging me, criticizing me, helping me improve and for making me experience strong and unforgettable emotions.
Always be proud of yourself, because I am.
This is not goodbye, but goodbye.
JAMU ALWAYS WOLVES.”
