In Campania, Giorgia Meloni is the most voted among the candidates in the field on the various lists. The prime minister, leader of the Brothers of Italy, brings home a personal haul of 177,882 preferences, of which 73,466 come from Naples (18,030 in the city, the rest from the municipalities of the province). Raffaele Topo of the Democratic Party follows with 114,424 votes: Topo was a regional councilor in Campania, and was a deputy of the Republic in the 2018-2022 legislation. Third place for Lucia Annunziata (108,569 votes), also a candidate from the Democratic Party. Among the most voted were other members of the Democratic Party: Antonio De Caro, mayor of Bari and national president of Anci, who took home 70,400 preferences; Sandro Ruotolo 64,580 votes. For Forza Italia, 71,911 votes went to the outgoing MEP and FI regional coordinator, Fulvio Martusciello. For the 5 Star Movement in Campania, the most voted was the former INPS director and leader of the list, Pasquale Tridico (51,474 votes). The deputy and former regional councilor Francesco Emilio Borrelli of the Green and Left Alliance collects 44,128 votes, while on the same list the former mayor of Riace Domenico Lucano collects 26,433 votes. In the United States of Europe list, which in Campania – on balance – was driven by the exponents of Italia viva, the regional councilor and former MEP, Nicola Caputo, recorded a boom in preferences: 39,373 votes for him . Caputo also beat the leader of IV, Matteo Renzi who took second place with 35,958 votes.
In the League it was Aldo Patriciello who received the highest number of preferences (32,541 votes). General Roberto Vannacci, candidate from the Northern League as an independent, took home 20,328. Vannacci did better than Lega politicians rooted in the territory: Carmela Rescigno, regional councilor in Campania, received 15,353 preferences. Very few preferences for Valentino Grant, outgoing MEP, regional coordinator of the League until November 2013 (replaced by Claudio Durigon) and former regional councilor of the League in Campania: Grant was voted by 5,936 people. In the Action party the most voted is the regional councilor in Campania Giuseppe Sommese: 18,689 votes. In the party above the threshold of 10 thousand votes there are Giosi Ferrandino (16,818 votes) and Gigi Casciello from Salerno (11,839 votes). Carlo Calenda, however, failed, receiving just 6,096 votes.
