Last Saturday 1st June, the Provincial Carabinieri Command of Potenza opened the doors of the “Orazio Petruccelli” Barracks to the students of the “A. Busciolano” in Potenza for the holding of an acoustic concert, open to the publicat the conclusion of the “Archi della Busciolano – Junior Strings 2024” project conceived and coordinated by Prof. Massimo Rosa, teacher at that school.
Meeting moment strongly desired and promoted by Headmaster Prof. Rocco Telesca and welcomed with enthusiasm by the Provincial Commander of the Carabinieri, Colonel Luca D’Amore.
The ensemble of 26 students of the Scholastic Institute was hosted, with their family members and the teaching staff, in the evocative setting of the Cloister kept inside the Provincial Carabinieri Command of Potenza, formerly Monastero San Luca.
Building that symbolizes the perfect union between history and art as recalled by Prof. Vincenza Molinari in his historical introduction.
Pupils, families and teaching staff were welcomed by the Commander of the Carabinieri Station of Potenza, Lieutenant CS Fabio Turco who, as part of the project aimed at spreading the culture of legality, gave a brief introduction on the topic, answering questions and curiosities from the young learners.
Following this, after the thanks and the presentation of the actual event by Prof. Massimo Rosa, the Cloister was surrounded by silence to allow the concert to begin.
Scenography so significant that it stood out an ideal setting for the violins, cellos and double bass of the young musicians who, with their performances, have greatly brought prestige to it.
Unanimous applause from those present and from the other spectators who meanwhile flocked to an event which, in addition to symbolizing the solid bond between the Carabinieri and the School, testifies to the unity of intent between these two institutions in the training and protection of young people as they become men and the Women of tomorrow.
