Caltanissetta – Voter turnout more or less decreasing for the administrative elections. This is the first fact that emerges and which, in some way, should make us reflect. In the capital of Nisseno we went from 56.54 percent of voters in 2019 to 55.9 percent this last weekend, 0.63% less than the previous municipal ones.
The drop in Gela was even more significant where it went from 58.41 percent in 2019 to 53.64 percent now for the administrative elections while, on the other hand, the figure relating to the European elections rose with 62.57 percent
In the capital of Nisseno the projections give a neck and neck between the centre-right candidate, Walter Tesauro, with a range between 37 and 41 percent, followed by the centre-left candidate, Annalisa Petitto, between 30 and 34 percent.
The lists in support of Tesauro are Noi Moderati, Giovanna Candura – Let’s resume the path – Caltanissetta 2030, Lega Salvini UDC Tesauro Mayor, Fratelli d’Italia Giorgia Meloni, Forza Italia, Azzurri for Caltanissetta and Christian Democracy.
In support of Annalisa Petitto, CL Tutta la Vita Petitto Sindaco, Orgoglio Nisseno, Caltanissetta Futura e Democratica, Insieme Petitto Sindaco, Hitting the mark with Totò Licata Petitto Sindaco, Ora Petitto Sindaco and Avanti Caltanissetta Petitto Sindaco. She left the Democratic Party a year and a half ago, but in any case the party, even without a symbol, would have offered her support
The outgoing mayor of the Five Star Movement, Roberto Gambino, would have achieved between 21 and 25 percent. He is supported by Movimento 5 Stelle 2050, Mayor Gambino Avanti Thus and De Luca Mayor of Southern Sicily Call North Freedom in Caltanissetta.
Significantly lower percentages for Angelo Failla, who left Forza Italia after the internal fracture over the choice of mayoral candidate, now supported by the civic list Nuova Italia Failla Sindaco which could reach the ceiling of 5 percent and Ignazio Riggi as a candidate for Forza del Popolo
