The historic appointment with is renewed Bergamo Meetthe festival created by the association of the same name with the desire and aim of meeting and enhancing reality in all its aspects. From Friday 14th to Sunday 16th June The stands of Sant’Agostino in High City to Bergamo will be animated by a rich program of meetings, exhibitions and performances around the theme of this 15thto edition: ‘No one is content simply to live. We want to live for something’.
Let’s start Friday with ‘We want to live for something’ a dialogue on the central theme of the event between prof. Franco Nembrini, Don Massimo Granieri, music critic, and other guests. He will speak on the same topic on Sunday Monica Scholz-Zappa, Albert Ludwig University, Freiburg im Breisgau.
On Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th we will talk about a topic as important and current as that ofhospitality with Veronica Guidotti, cooperator of the AVSI Foundation And Luca Sommacal, national president of Families for Hospitality.
Another very topical topic are the current war scenarios, told on Saturday through the testimonies of Alberto Reggiori, surgeon on a mission on the Italian ship Vulcano who deals with treating wounded Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, and father Aleksej Uminskij, suspended a divinis by the Patriarchate of Moscow and now reinstated in the priestly dignity within the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople.
Also scheduled for Sunday is an in-depth study on new generative technologies based on artificial intelligence and their relationship with man as told by Alessandro Confetti, data & AI solution lead at ThoughtWorksL’artist Matteo Negri and the CEO of Studio Bozzetto, Pietro Pinettimoderated by Lorenzo Caggioni, head of data & AI architects EMEA at Google.
Alongside the meetings it will be possible to visit a series of exhibitions connected to the theme of this edition of the festival. ‘Not like but that. Families and artists in the surprise of gratuity’a story of the experience of the Famiglie per l’Accoglienza association on the ‘miracle of hospitality’; ‘YOU. The light in the curecreated by the Bergamo Incontra association on ‘taking care’; ‘What are we missing? Good question. In dialogue with contemporary music’ curated by a group of young students and adults from Bergamo who have built a dialogue between themselves and many of the songs they usually listen to.
All three evenings will be animated by concerts live: Friday i P&M Duo – Carlo Pastori and Walter MutoSaturday i The Cyst Fellaswhile closing on Sunday with i Teacher’s Band.
