The five finalists for the “Augusto d’oro” Award for the excellence of the Velletri area have been announced

Late in the evening on Saturday in the “Marcello De Rossi” Hall of the “Juana Romani” Exhibition Center the long-awaited ceremony took place in which the five finalists for the first Golden Augustus for the excellence of the territory were made public, a recognition established for those citizens who in their fields of action have brought prestige to their land of origin. The president of the Magni / Mirisola Foundation Alessandro Filippi, before making the five finalists public, presented the summer initiatives, fully shared by the municipal administration which included them in the Veliterna summer program. The next appointment will be on June 15th with the inauguration of the exhibition dedicated to the career of Donna Lucia Mirisola which enjoys the patronage of the Academy of Italian Cinema, the National Association of Costume Designers and Set Designers and the Historical Archive of Italian Cinema. The outdoor initiatives will start on June 22nd at the Coroncina with the delivery of the Augusto d’Oro, and on the same evening the contemporary art exhibition curated by Dr. Lucrezia Rubini will also be inaugurated. At the “Juana Romani” Exhibition Center in August there will be a memory of Giulio Montagna on the sixth anniversary of his death, an event that closes the celebrations for the 35th anniversary of the foundation of the “Le Zitelle Velletrane” Costume Group. In September the Exhibition Center, in anticipation of the Grape and Wine Festival, will host the retrospective of the maestro Giuseppe Cherubini curated in collaboration with the family. The Augusto d’Oro in memory were also announced and were awarded to Franco Zaccagnini and Dr. Angelo Palladino. At the end of the evening the exhibition of the artist FELIX was inaugurated, a happy discovery for all those present; the works will be visible until the end of the month.
