ALTAVILLA MILICIA – THE carabinieri of the Company of Bagheria they have arrested a man 35 years old, originally from Palermo but a long-time resident of the province, already known to the police, on charges of robbery.
In particular, the 35-year-old, while he was on one of the main streets of Altavilla Miliciahas grabbed his ex-partner 23 years old, stealing her mobile phone and damaging the windshield wipers of a woman’s car which, having witnessed the sceneAnd rushed to the victim’s aid.
The immediate intervention of the local police station led to the arrest of the man. During transport to the offices of the Bagheria Company, the 35-year-old kicked the rear window of the company carfor which it was also reported for aggravated damage.
The arrest was validated by the Judge for Preliminary Investigations of the Termini Imerese Court, who ordered the precautionary measure of house arrest with an electronic bracelet.

It is important to underline that the suspect is currently only suspected of the crime, albeit seriously, and his position will be examined by the Judicial Authority during the entire procedural process, defining it only after the possible issuing of a definitive sentence, in compliance with the constitutional principle of the presumption of innocence.
