A day dedicated to sport and inclusion for the fifth classes of the Celio high school, which, in the last days of school, it hosted Nadia Bala and Pierluigi Bonafin. The children were thus able to live two life experiences thanks to two exceptional guests, brought to the classroom by teacher Zamana.

Nadia Bala, from Rovigo with a recent past as a paralympic athlete in sitting volleyball, employee of Ulss 5 Polesana, she is also very involved in social work with various projects related to sport, and is also a Rai face for some programs such as “Record beyond the impossible”. Pierluigi Bonafin, also from Rovigo, a lawyer, brought his experiences as an athlete Paralympic in swimming, free diving and hand biking.

The kids were able to live a day on the wave of self-esteem, self-irony, of emotion and smiles, thanks to the kind words of the two guests. We then moved on to a more practical moment, with the gym set up for the occasion, in which the boys tried their hand at the discipline of sitting volleyball; some instead tried to climb and ride a few meters on Pierluigi Bonafin’s handbike, testing its difficulties and technical peculiarities.

“This is the school we like, open to different experiences and offering transversal ideas to enrich the present and future lives of our students,” they say from the high school. Who add: “As always, a dutiful thank you to the management staff, the secretariat and the technicians who made the morning possible thanks to their support; a big thank you to Nadia and Pierluigi, who knew how to bare themselves in a very direct and simple way in front of the audience of almost ninety girls and boys”.
