Administrative elections, 20.45% of voters voted in Foligno

The first day of Administrative in Foligno ended with a turnout of 20.45%. This, in fact, is the percentage of citizens who went to the polls at 11pm on Saturday 8 June for the renewal of the city council. This is, in fact, the first “check” since the polls opened at 3pm. Five years ago, on the occasion of the 2019 administrative consultations, the partial data at 12pm on Sunday 26 May, the first day of elections, in the city of Quintana had been 22.92%. The percentage was slightly higher in Perugia, where the figure for the municipal elections was 21.95%.

Looking, however, at the other municipalities of the southern Umbrian valley, the turnout at the administrative elections was 21.42% in Spello, 15.93% in Montefalco, 23.80% in Gualdo Cattaneo, 21.84% in Campello sul Clitunno, 28.13% in Castel Ritaldi. Data regarding Giano dell’Umbria is not available at the moment.

Moving on to the European Championships, however, Foligno closed the first day with a turnout of 21.15%, Spello of 22.14%, Montefalco of 16.10%, Giano dell’Umbria of 24.32%, Gualdo Cattaneo of 24 .85%, Castel Ritaldi of 28.88% and Campello sul Clitunno of 22.47%.

Throughout Umbria, the percentage of voters for the administrative elections was 21.88% for the municipal elections: 21.72% in the province of Perugia and 22.97% in that of Terni. The European figure for the entire regional territory does not exceed the 20% threshold but stops at 17.86. In this case with a turnout of 18.80% in the province of Perugia and 15.13% in that of Terni.

The polls will open again at 7am on Sunday 9 June and it will be possible to vote until 11pm. The next turnout data is scheduled for 12pm on Sunday.
