Working creatively in the world of entertainment, carrying out the complex profession of an actor, means seeking the vital energy that each of us possesses but which is often hidden or distorted, it means putting into play if themselves, activating their own internal dynamics. Acting is the final phase of a journey in which knowledge and awareness of one’s communicative potential are combined with the use of expressive tools. The profession of theater is a complex path of knowledge, a school of method and a discipline; it is a journey that allows us to approach the most authentic roots of ourselves, a laboratory of solutions, a place and a space to rediscover and strengthen one’s talents, skills and forgotten strengths. The Actor’s Profession is an in-depth journey into acting techniques and theatrical communication and is a masterclass held by Massimo Luconi, an established director in the theatrical and cinematographic field, with long experience alongside great masters such as Franco Zeffirelli, Luca Ronconi, Eduardo De Filippo, Mauro Bolognini. A teacher at the Zeffirelli Foundation, he has already held numerous courses and masterclasses at the International Center for the Performing Arts. Among his latest works: Il Dolor with Mariangela Melato, Sarabanda with Giuliana Loiodice, Massimo de Francovich, Prometeo with Luca Lazzareschi, Prayer for Chernobyl with Mascia Musy. From 2002 to 2005 he was director of the Metastasio theater and from 2010 to 2015 co-director, since 2012 he has been director of the Radicondoli festival.
