On Friday morning the Ancona fans met with mayor Silvetti to discuss the club’s situation.
“Curva nord Ancona intends to inform the entire square that this morning at the municipality of Ancona we were welcomed by the mayor Daniele Silvetti.
We listened and noted that the mayor is doing everything in his “power” to save football in Ancona.
We have reiterated and found common consensus on the fact that any type of merger with other companies will never be accepted, therefore this path is therefore excluded.
We also reiterated that we no longer want any architect of this latest corporate management at the helm of the Ancona to come, as they have betrayed the trust and passion of an entire people, including the municipal administration.
We are all in the same boat and as such we will all row in the same direction to return to giving dignity and credibility to our beloved Ancona.
There are ways to go and without going into too much detail because it is not our job to do so, we give maximum trust to the mayor so that, as mayor of Ancona, he will find the best possible solution for Dorico football, which goes hand in hand with the goals that we mentioned above.
This evening we will take to the streets, and there will be an entire city for the love and dignity of these colors, which have accompanied us every day of our lives.
This evening is not just a proof of pride, if we are here this evening it is because despite everything we are still alive, at least us, a demonstrative signal also in a possible future perspective and hope.

In the evening, around 7.30pm, around 2,000 fans marched with banners, flags and colored smoke bombs along Corso Garibaldi to Palazzo del Popolo, to demonstrate their football faith and protest against yet another risk of collapse for the club which would be the fourth in about 20 years. Also present in the crowd was the mayor who joined the chants.
