Today and tomorrow, together with the elections for the renewal of the European Parliament, the administrative elections will take place, on what has been defined as election day.

We will vote for the renewal of the administrations of 3,716 municipalities, and for the Piedmont region.

There are 37 capital cities where voting is held and among these are Florence, Bari, Lecce, Bergamo, Perugia, Modena, Pescara and Reggio Emilia.

In Sicily we will vote for the renewal of mayors and municipal councils in 37 municipalities, 32 because they have reached their natural expiration date and 5 are currently administered by extraordinary commissioners.

In 29 municipalities we will vote with the majority system and in 8 with the proportional system.

The 484,218 voters of these municipalities will receive not only that for the European lessons, but also that for the administrative elections.

Caltanissetta is the only provincial capital affected by this electoral round.

The most populous municipalities are Gela, in the Nisseno area, Mazara del Vallo, in the Trapani area, and, for the province of Palermo, Bagheria and Monreale.

Polling stations will be open on Saturday 8 June, from 2pm to 10pm, and on Sunday 9th, from 7am to 11pm.

The possible run-off round, in the 8 municipalities where voting is done using the proportional system, will take place on Sunday 23 June from 7am to 11pm and on Monday 24 June from 7am to 3pm.

These are the municipalities in which we will vote for the administrative elections.

In the province of Agrigento voting will take place in six municipalities, all under 15 thousand inhabitants: Alessandria della Rocca, Caltabellotta, Campobello di Licata (commissariat), Naro, Racalmuto and Santa Elisabetta.

In Nisseno we will vote with the proportional system as well as with Caltanissetta also to Frostwith the majority system, however, in Mazarin.

In the province of Catania the only municipality that will go to the polls with the proportional system is Aci Castello, the other municipalities are Motta Sant’Anastasia, Ragalna and Zafferana Etnea.

The ten Municipalities of the Messina area involved in the electoral round are all under 15 thousand inhabitants Brolo, Condrò, Falcone (commissioner’s office), Forza D’Agrò, Leni, Longi, Mandanici, Oliveri, Rometta and Spadafora.

In the province of Palermo we will vote for the renewal of nine administrations: with proportional a Bagheria And Monreale, while with the majority in Bompietro, Borgetto, Corleone, Palazzo Adriano, Roccamena, Cinisi and San Mauro Castelverde. The last two are currently administered by extraordinary commissioners.

In the province of Syracuse there will be voting, with proportional system, only in Pachino, currently a commissioner after the city council gave mayor Carmela Petralito a no-confidence vote.

In province of Trapani the municipalities above 15 thousand inhabitants involved are Castelvetrano And Mazara del Vallo. We will also vote, but with the majority, in Salaparuta and Salemi.
