Regional and European: Turin and Piedmont to vote. What you need to know

At the weekend we vote for the election of the members of the European Parliament and, in Piedmont, for the election of the members of the Regional Council and the President of the Regional Council.

On Saturday 8 June the polling stations will be open on Saturday from 3pm to 11pm, while on Sunday 9th from 7am to 11pm. The counting operations for the European elections will begin immediately afterwards, while the counting operations for the regional ones will begin at 2pm Monday 10 June.

To vote you need a personal identification document and a personal permanent voter card.

It is therefore useful to ensure that you are in possession of the electoral card and if it has been lost, if it is damaged or the spaces available for affixing the polling station stamp are exhausted, you must request a duplicate or a new card. To issue the duplicate it is necessary to show an identification document, while to issue a new card it is necessary to show, in addition to the identity document, the old card with all eighteen spaces for the certification of the vote stamped. In case of loss, the voter can request a duplicate of the electoral card, after self-certification, without the need to report it to the competent authority, while if the card is damaged it must be returned.

The electoral card can be requested until Thursday 6 June at the electoral office in Corso Valdocco 20, open continuously from 8.15am to 3pm and at the decentralized register offices, during the usual opening hours.
