This evening the best European fighters will face each other in the ring of the Pala Gianni Asti in the Turin Fight Night. This is a unique event of its kind in which spectators will be able to watch boxing matches, thay boxing, K1 – a fighting technique in which the contestants can also hit the opponent with the knee – and grappling – a style in which techniques and strikes from all fighting sports can be used.
The event is organized by ASD Kombat Mirafiori in whose gym several athletes train, including the talented Ruben Sciortino from Turin who will compete against the Frenchman Antonin Marconi.
The Torino Fight Night is not only a sporting spectacle, but also a vehicle for promoting charitable activities. Such as “The Shadow Project”, which sees among its testimonials the three-time world kickboxing champion Gloria Peritore and which aims to combat violence against women, bullying and fight for the defense of gender identity against mistreatment. Gloria Peritore will also enter the ring at the Pala Gianni Asti to face Dijana Babic.
