AGI – Today, from 3pm to 11pm, and on Sunday, from 7am to 11pm, 51 million 198 thousand and 828 Italians are called to choose their representatives in the European Parliament. There are several political leaders who have chosen to go and vote to coincide with the opening of the polls, perhaps also as a signal to encourage participation in the vote. Here is a map of the seats where high officials and party leaders will go.

The President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella will vote on Sunday at the polling station set up in the Piazzi school in Palermo, a stone’s throw from his home in the Sicilian capital.

The president of the Senate, Ignazio La Russa, will vote tomorrow at 3 pm at the polling station in via Antonio Stoppani in Milan.

The President of the Chamber Lorenzo Fontana has the seat in Verona and is expected to vote on Sunday around midday.

The Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, will go tomorrow, between 3pm and 3.30pm, to the polling station where she usually votes, at the Vittorio Bachelet institute, between Mostacciano and Torrino, in Rome (viale Beata Vergine del Carmelo, 35) .

Voting tomorrow at 3pm also for the secretary of the Democratic Party Elly Schlein who will go to the polling station set up in the Ercolani school in Bologna (Mura di Porta Galliera 1/a).

Same day and time also chosen by Matteo Salvini, who will be at the usual polling station, in via Martinetti, in Milan; and by the leader of Action Carlo Calenda, who votes in Rome, in via del Lavatore, near the Trevi Fountain.

Also voting on the first day of consultation are Matteo Renzi, at the Villani school in Florence, and Antonio Tajani, who will be at 4.30 pm, in Fiuggi at the Fiuggi-Acuto comprehensive institute, primary school of Fiuggi Valmadonna.

The spokesperson of Green Europe and deputy of the Green and Left Alliance, Angelo Bonelli, will vote in Rovereto, in the Regina Elena school in via Canestrini, again tomorrow at 3.30 pm.

The leader of +Europa, Emma Bonino, head of the list in the North West and candidate for the Center for the United States of Europe, at 6pm at the polling station set up in the Vittoria Colonna state scientific high school, in via dell’Arco dal Monte 99, in Rome.

Bonino will be accompanied by the secretary of +Europa, Riccardo Magi. The secretary of the Italian Left and deputy of the Alleanza Verdi and left, will still vote tomorrow at 5pm at the polling station in via Piermarini, in Foligno.

Finally, M5s president Giuseppe Conte will vote on Sunday in the capital, in the central Piazza Navona area: his seat is in the historic Virgilio high school.
