Night of music in Sanremo, but also night on the eve of the vote. Tonight the electoral campaign saw the curtain fall with the rallies and concerts offered to their respective supporters of the civic candidate Alessandro Mager and that of the centre-right party Gianni Rolando. For both of us full squares, with hundreds and hundreds of people. Calls to vote at the end of six intense months of skirmishes and discussions on the future of a city which, after ten years of Alberto Biancheri’s government, is called to choose between continuity or an alternative. Mager and Rolando, according to the polls but also in the general impression, are credited with reaching the run-off, with another 15 days of “electoral extra time”. The candidate of the Left, Fulvio Fellegara, also found broad support in the city, having also closed the campaign with music a week ago, stigmatizing the lack of alliance with the 5 Star Movement, which is running alone with the candidate Roberto Rizzo, a choice which has in fact greatly reduced Fellegara’s chances of reaching the run-off. But as always on these occasions the outcome will only be known after the votes are counted and any result is possible.

The polls open tomorrow at 3pm. On Monday from 2pm the counting and the verdicts on the mayoral candidates and the preference lottery, with those promoted and defeated by the electorate.
