Politics, in recent years, has several times betrayed the trust that we citizens have given it.
We are tired, exhausted.
One thing is certain: NOT voting won’t change things.
In this election cycle, there are certainly candidates who do not deserve our vote. There are candidates who think and will only think about personal interests. And these candidates are scattered across all the coalitions that have proposed themselves. But in this electoral campaign there are also respectable people, people who have sacrificed their time, people who have truly put themselves on the line for the collective good. And these candidates are also scattered across all the coalitions.
In these last hours that separate us from the vote, if you haven’t already done so, think about who to vote for. Get away from the logic of the family vote or even worse the clientelistic vote.
In any case, this electoral round will serve to leave a mark in the Manfredonia of tomorrow.
Go to the polls and vote for whoever you think is worthy of trust and who has few personal interests and values of a certain depth. Don’t let yourselves be robbed of hope, on the contrary, fight so that the same old ones don’t always win, to dilute their power, to get deserving and competent people onto the seats of the city council, or even better, the city council!
