Bergamo. The private assembly of Confindustria Bergamogathered in the spaces of Gres art 671, in via San Bernardino, in Bergamo, approved, together with President Giovanna Ricuperati’s two-year program and the 2023 final budget, the appointment, with related delegations, of the Vice Presidents for the two-year period 2024/2026. These are:
- Giovanni FassiDigital Transition and Innovation
- Marco Manzoni, Education and Governance
- Claudia Persico, Internationalisation, Europe, gender equality, only new entry
- Paolo Rota, Industrial relations
- Bernardo SestiniEcological transition – Energy and Environment
Claudia Persico takes over from Laura Colnaghi Calissoni, no longer available due to new commitments, thanked by the President for her precious contribution, vision and broad outlook on the international front, in particular on the African continent, which is increasingly worthy of attention.
The team is completed with Oscar Panseri, member by right as President of the Small Industry Committee, with responsibilities for Finance, Taxation, Relations with Members and Matteo Vavassorimember by right as President of the Young Entrepreneurs Group, with responsibility for New Generations.
They remain at the head of the President the Infrastructure, Territorial Strategies, Research Office and Communication delegations.
The assembly also approved the proposal to revise the Statute with the related resolutions which outlines an increasingly inclusive Confindustria, called to interpret the present and promote, in a sustainable way, the development and growth of the territory, through dialogue and comparison with all other components of society.
During the meeting, the following were also celebrated 51 companies which, between 2020 and 2024, have reached the prestigious fifty year milestone of registration, thus demonstrating the trust in the Association and its roots in the territory.
Biography of Claudia Persico
VP & Rotational Director – Persico Group, graduated in marketing and business communication in Milan, after an experience in America with a competitor, in 1998 she joined the family company Persico, a Bergamo-based multinational leader in moulds, presses, systems and solutions automated for various high-tech sectors. Over the years it has contributed to orienting the Group’s growth strategies towards a decisive leap in production based on technological neutrality, environmental sustainability and the circular economy, investing in processes for reducing consumption and the use of renewable sources in sectors such as Automotive, Aerospace, Marine, Urban mobility and biomedical engineering. Claudia Persico is today Vice President of Federmeccanica with responsibility for gender culture, of the Council of the Mechatronics groups of Confindustria Bergamo and of the council of JEC Group. She is also a GammaDonna ambassador, EMBA candidate at MIP Politecnico Milano, independent member of Banca Galileo and member of the scientific committee of the SPS Italy fair. Mother of two, she firmly believes in kind leadership and the constant search for the new.
