Monza, teacher attacked and children scared: the police intervened

The episode, according to what was reported by a parents associationit happened after lunch, when the students “they were having fun on slides and swings”. The stranger, apparently “state of alteration” would have emerged from some bushes that separate the farmhouse from the playground, “scaring the children and screaming at them to leave that place as it is his territory“. The teacher would have ordered the stranger to move away without taking the reaction into account: indeed he would have “reacted violently, throwing himself at him and throwing some blows”then he would have fled.

Other teachers present immediately assisted their colleague – “who fortunately suffered superficial injuries” –, reassured the children and called 112, causing a State Police patrol to intervene and track down the man.

Monza, teacher attacked in the Park: “The incident serves to bring attention to the situation of Cascina del Sole”

“The teaching staff certainly knew how to handle this matter in the best possible way, putting the safety of the children first, as did the police who intervened. However, an event like this, occurring in broad daylight on a public playground, must make us reflect on the fact that degradation is no longer a question of the suburbs/center or of evening/daytime hours, but rather a fact of our city context. What happened is not tolerable, especially given the place where these events took place: a playground frequented by many families who live in the Park, but unfortunately close to a structure that has been abandoned for too long now” say the parents.

A story that parents hope will help: “to bring what happened to the attention of the municipal administration, with the hope that one can be assigned shortly new destination for the Cascina del Sole, thus allowing citizens to return to living it peacefully, just like in the past. We all have childhood memories linked to Cascina del Sole and seeing it deteriorate season after season is inexplicable in the eyes of those who have always frequented the Park with their families. And not just on the days of the Grand Prix.”
