Sunday 9 June 2024 the traditional returns Ticino Paliothe most important historical re-enactment of the city of Pavia.
For the 2024 edition the Gala dinner on the Covered Bridge will not take place.

Blessing ceremony
11.00 am, at the Cathedral of the Duomo of Pavia, the blessing ceremony in the presence of Duke Filippo Maria Visconti and the Duchess.
Medieval life at the Visconti Castle
From 10.00 to 18.00, a whole day of medieval life at Visconti Castle of Pavia. Medieval camp, medieval joust on horseback, falconry, flag-wavers and much more.
Historical parade
At 4.30 pmstarting from Visconti Castlethe imposing historical procession in the presence of the entire court, the men-at-arms, nobles, courtesans, will travel through the streets of the historic center to reach the Covered Bridge.
Barcè race
Upon the arrival of the historical procession, the rowing competition will be held with the typical Pavia boat flat-bottomed and governed by two standing rowers.
Archers competition
When the historical procession reaches the Covered Bridge, the official Fitarco competition will be held on the bank of the Borgo Ticino.
The archers’ competition, together with the barcé competition, contributes to the sum of the scores necessary to win the drape 2024.
