A significant weekend full of results for theAvis Macerata Athletics. Events were held on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th May Ancona the overall club championships where, thanks to the performances of the athletes, the red and white team managed to bring home the victory both with the men’s team (with 11,614 points) and with the women’s team (with 12,553 points).

On an individual level, the contribution of Federico Vitali vhe achieved victory both in the 400 meters with a new personal best of 48.18 and in the 800 meters with a time of 1:51.86. The track athlete also achieved victory in the 4×400 relay in 3:28.65 together with his teammates Achille Natali, Elia Vargas and Lorenzo Angelini; the latter is also the protagonist in the 100 meters, wearing the bronze medal around his neck after running in 10.90.

Silver medals also for Simone Coppari in the 400 hurdles in 1:02.07 and Marco Pallotta in the 3000 steeplechase with a new personal best of 10:21.03. From the auction platform too Gabriele Bondi he comes second going up to 4.10 where instead on the triple platform Filippo Gragnoli he is third with a measurement of 13.15. In the launchesi Giovanni FalocI comes second in the weight with the measurement of 15.29, while in the hammer Gregory Giorgis it is silver with the excellent measurement of 61.18. The second place obtained by is also important Augusto Cecchetti in the discus with a throw at 43.15.

From the javelin platform Emanuele Salvucci gets silver with the measurement of 62.77. For the women’s team, the performances of the Vandi sisters were important; Eleonora takes victory in both the 800 meters in 2:06.00 and the 1500 meters in 4:21.39 while her younger sister Elisabetta does the 400 meters in 54.32. The two sisters from Pesaro are also key elements in the 4×400 where, together with Meskerem Paparello and Anna Mengarelli they climb to the top step of the podium with a time of 3:51.92.

There is also a female highlight Serena Mazzoni who signed two personal bests respectively in the long jump with 5.58 and in the triple jump with 12.25. Excellent performance too Chiara Marangoni who achieved the victory in the discus throw by dropping the object at 36.75 metres, ahead of her teammate Chiara Pistola, second with 29.40; in the hammer Anita Cavalaglio she is second with 39.48.

Among other key performances, Chiara Fucelli wins the 3000 steeplechase in 10:58.95, while Ambra Compagnucci, the bronze medalist at the recent Isernia University Championships, comes second in the high jump with 1.64. The latter also dashes in the 100 hurdles, obtaining an excellent third position in 16.17.

In the pole vault Rachele Tittarelli is second with 3.20, while Francesca Cinella he took bronze in the 5km walk with a time of 28:53.8
