The FdI Viterbo council group highlights the critical issues of the arrangement
VITERBO – Safe education and safeguarding needsincluding those to modernize and enrich spaces: what, however, is it possible to do without ensure comfortable accommodation for children and teenagers involved? The group of Brothers of Italy of Viterbo expressed his opinion at Palazzo dei Priori regarding the transfer of the Ellera school in the former ASL offices in Viale Trento. Having raised the funds with the Pnrr, some work is underway in the Comprehensive Institute.
According to the councillors, the accommodation in Viale Trento entails significant obstacles to the logistics and traffic problemsespecially during peak hours: it could be very difficult for parents find a place to park the car. With a total of 14 classes and several dozen staff, up to 400 people who need to get to school. Even the arrival of different weather conditions could compromise the safety and serenity of families: they are works planned for the car park on the left side of Viale Trento.
Last May 13th it was FdI to ask councilor Aronne to re-evaluate the situation, also reopening, if necessary, the tender for the procurement of premises. The will of the council group is to speak directly with the parents, however collect their grievances and think of a more viable solution for the children, their families and the entire city of Viterbo.
Protests followed the movement of children to the former ASL offices, despite the cause of the implementation of the measure is important: the Ellera school it needs seismic retrofitting. That said, also the opinion and the thoughts of the children’s parents has its weight: the conditions of Viale Trento leave families perplexed due to the degradation in which it finds itself.
