The third edition of CineSpeyer begins on Friday 7 June, the free film festival organized by CittAttiva. Each screening is preceded by some tastings of world cuisines prepared by local associations. The first evening will take place at the Quake youth centre, with free access to all, including adults, in via Eraclea 25. From 7pm the Cittadini del Planet association will offer tastings from Cameroon, while at 8pm The right to count, to Theodore Melfi.

The true story of Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughn and Mary Jackson, three African-American scientists who revolutionized studies at NASA. A team of African-American mathematicians fight against discrimination, gradually imposing themselves on the arrogance of colleagues and superiors. Confined to the west wing of the building, they end up breaking down racial barriers with grace and expertise.

The Quake Center is a youth gathering space, designed for boys and girls aged between 11 and 17. It was they who chose the film The right to count, due to the issues addressed in the film, racism and sexism. Cittadini del Pianeta is a social and intercultural promotion association created with the aim of providing support, solidarity and assistance to citizens in difficulty. At the same time, it acts as a listening center for integration between people of different nationalities, with the aim of creating new aware and collaborative communities, pursuing the important objective of also promoting distance solidarity paths to help young people and families in their countries of origin.
