ANCONA – Anti-crime police, postal police, dog police and traffic police: these are, just to mention Ancona, the departments involved in the campaign “Let’s educate about legality together”, whose 2024 edition has just concluded. The prevention and awareness initiative carried out by the company has come to an end in recent days preccint of Anconain collaboration with the provincial school office, specifically aimed at students of schools in Ancona and the province, already promoted last year.
This morning, to share together the conclusion of the important project which involved numerous police operators, a press conference was held in the Via Gervasoni headquarters of the Doric police headquarters during which the overall balance of the project was illustrated. The occasion involved the commissioner Cesare Capocasathe USR director Donatella D’Amico.
In agreement with the various garrisons in Ancona, Jesi, Senigallia, Osimo and Fabriano Hundreds of legality education meetings were held throughout the entire school year, aimed at students of all levels. Over 12 thousand students met – 12,374 to be precise – in 80 schools. The prevention campaign involved various members of the State Police including, in particular the Anti-Crime for the prevention of bullying, cyberbullying and the Postal Service.
The Polstrada was also there to educate students on safety circulation road and accident prevention, community police and dog handlers. The project involved students from all the first and second level schools in the province and, on several occasions, the meetings were also extended to the parents of the students, in order to illustrate the main problems that trouble the lives of today’s teenagers. Every day the state police was alongside the educational institutions of the province to support and help them difficult task to educate children to respect the rules of “Active and digital citizenship”.
According to the Doric commissioner, Cesare Capocasa, «it is essential to contribute to education, respect for the rules and knowledge of the values of our Constitution, but also to propose segments of reflection to teachers and parents to train the citizens of tomorrow. I am thinking of the deviant phenomena closest to young people, such as bullying, cyberbullying, road safety education, the conscious use of the internet and social media. The school is the architrave on which rests there society and I believe this way of being present by the State Police, together with the School Office, is one of the most significant and incisive things”. Donatella D’Amico, Usr, expressed «full satisfaction with the collaboration with the police headquarters for the constant work carried out by the latter in favor of the community provincial school”.
