ROVIGO – Car on A13 at high speed, with sudden lane changes e risky maneuvers: the driver was a man without a license, he had never had one. And as if that wasn’t enough, the man was strangely nervous, the reason became clear shortly after: under the rear mat of the car and in the passenger compartment he hid two cellophane wrappers. Inside there was a kilo of drugs. A Rovigo police patrol made the discovery on Saturday 6 April 2024.
Everything was seized, and the driver, with a specific police record, was arrested. When validating the arrest, the GIP applied the measure of precautionary custody at the prison in Padua, where the person under investigation still remains, awaiting the judgment which will have to ascertain his responsibilities.
