A traveling exhibition in the beautiful historic center of Carbognano, Viterbo, a journey of works of art created by young emerging artists working in the Viterbo area. The target? Coinvolve the local community and the history of the place in an innovative and “fresh” dialogue with art and artists. We are talking about ‘Scattered tracesa new event that kicks off on June 15th and 16th at uno idea of Daniela Perego it’s at care of Paolo Angelosanto, MicroMuseum of Contemporary Art of Tuscia, Daniela Perego And Sculptures in the Field – Contemporary Sculpture Parkwith the patronage of the Municipality of Carbognano and the Pro Loco of Carbognano.
During the inauguration days it will be possible to walk the streets of Carbognano and encounter the interventions of Diletta Amori, Brigdorius, Amedeo Desideri, Eirene, Gabriele Massei, Vanessa Serrano. Furthermore, for the inauguration on June 15th, a large mural by Stefania Fabrizi, which will delve into the topic of gender violence.
The village of Carbognano thus confirms itself as a center of contemporary production, retracing and continuing a decades-long history, focused on the promotion and diffusion of new artistic research, which began in 2002 with the project Center for Contemporary Art of Carbognano, born from an idea by the artist Anna Ajò and which involved numerous artists of different nationalities and expressive specificities. With Scattered tracesas with the projects that preceded it, contemporary art therefore dialogues with history and architecture: from the Farnese Castle, home of Giulia Farnese, a leading figure of the Renaissance whose five hundredth anniversary of death this year marks , to the numerous sixteenth and seventeenth century churches, to the alleys of the village of Etruscan origin.
The works will remain visible in Carbognano for a whole year, until the presentation of the next edition.
