He threatens the neighbors with a katana due to a water leak. The incident happened in a building in Portici that is not new to lively discussions. This time a water infiltration ruins the ceiling of a 58 year old. There is no agreement with the neighbors who live in the apartment on the upper floor from which the alleged loss derives. Thus the tone is raised and from words we quickly move on to threats.
The 58-year-old from the lower floor is already known to the police and is under special surveillance with an obligation to stay. The man can no longer stand the situation and reaches out to his neighbors to threaten them with death, brandishing a sword so dear to the samurai, the kind you see in films: a katana.
The neighbors, seeing him arrive with his blade drawn, dial 112 asking for help.
The Portici Carabinieri arrive on site and arrest the 58-year-old for threats and illegal possession of a weapon. The sword was seized. The man is in prison awaiting trial.
