LATINA – The two women suspected of the robbery of a 77-year-old which occurred on April 5th while the woman was returning home in the Borgo Podgora area have been identified by the Latina Mobile team. The victim was pushed to the ground and her keys were taken away, then one of her two entered her home and stole the jewels kept in her bedroom. Before fleeing, she had also removed her wedding ring from her finger, then joined her accomplice who was waiting for her in the car a short distance away.
After a few weeks of investigations, the Latina Mobile Police identified the robber and the other woman thanks to the video surveillance footage of some local shops and the condominium where the events took place and yesterday morning a 46-year-old was placed under house arrest, while for the accomplice who acted as a lookout, a 37-year-old, the obligation to sign was ordered.
The first, recognized by the victim and one of her neighbours, was in Aprilia. The second was reached in Rovigo. To bring back all the GPS tracks installed on their car and the analysis of telephone records.
