Antonio Calabro, Carrarese technician: “Must do something extraordinary in what concerns us, we must express the maximum of our potential in the middle of the pitch, not only physical or technical-tactical or mental, there are parameters that are rediscovered in these finals. Then we have the closeness of our fans who have already bought all the available tickets and this makes us very happy: they, together with us, strongly believe in it.
Vicenza, both in the defensive and offensive phases, is a team of skilled, physical, structured players. When you reach a final in such a prestigious tournament you don’t find any shortcomings in your opponents because they don’t exist.
Among the experts, I don’t think more than one has nominated Carrarese for the playoffs. I’m not saying we felt uncomfortable but it seemed like we didn’t even have to participate in the playoffs, because for I don’t know what reason others had to win them. But we knew within ourselves that we are a strong team that have moral values. We knew we were strong and that we could go to that playoff gala dinner, then we went in without being invited because the others didn’t consider us.”
As regards the giant screen at the Marmi di Carrara stadium, the Municipality informs the mayor Serena Arrighi, to access the stadium it will be necessary to present a free coupon, collected at the ticket office also on Wednesday 5 June, from 11am to 1pm and in any case until subject to availability. “Fans who wish to go to the stadium are invited to obtain their entry ticket in good time, also to avoid queues and congestion, with consequent problems of safety and public order”.
