Terni: another appeal. «We are entitled to public housing by right»

With this new appeal we would like to point out that to date we have made 49 journalistic articles, principals, two letters to the mayor, two self-protections and an appeal to the Regional Administrative Court (paid for with a social aperitif) judged inadmissible because the interested parties were not notified, for a council house that is rightfully ours. But nothing has changed.

We spoke from 7 June 2023 with the municipal councilor for welfare who on 12 August 2023, with a press release from the Municipality of Terni, announced that he was following our family, writing: ‘I immediately worked to do everything possible to help them… ‘. But on November 13, 2023, he blocked us on Whatsapp. We can’t understand why.

The fact is that we are always starting from the beginning, that is, I am a disabled person with a pension of around 340 euros a month, my wife gets a salary of around 800 euros due to over-indebtedness, we have three minor children, one of which is disabled, we pay 500 euros a month rent. We are not asking for subsidies (I have always worked in my life) but a house which, although we are entitled to it, has still been denied to us since 2017.

We are currently in the ranking in the public housing tender, but out of 80 available accommodations we are over 100. I ask for help again from all the political forces and above all from Mayor Bandecchi who so far, I don’t understand why, has never listened to me. Just as I dedicate time to go and vote, there must be someone who dedicates their time to listen to a citizen.
