Carlo Conti is already working on the new Festival regulations!

After the farewell of Amadeus, Carlo Conti will be the new host and artistic director of Sanremo 2025: from the first rumors it seems that there are already many artists who are proposed to participate in the next Italian Song Festival. But let’s find out what the new rules created by the host will be.

Carlo Conti has already been working on the new edition of Sanremo 2025 for a few weeks. Here is what he revealed during a recent press conference: “Now I’m working on the rules, then there will be careful listening first to the new proposals and then to the big ones. Subsequently we will choose the people who will support me. The songs will be the key thing. What if, as artistic director, I will invite some competing artists? The criteria for me are: always the songs first, there is always the listening first, then the invitations” declared the beloved host.

Conti explained how he will manage all his commitments: “In reality I am doing much less, I have removed all my daily commitments and I have chosen to leave this wonderful city to stay in my Florence, with my family. I think I work less than in past years, despite my commitments being many. I’m less worried about the work I’ll have to face for Sanremo compared to the previous editions that I directed. I also had The Legacy at the time, a daily commitment that added up to that of the Festival. This year I don’t have such a commitment and therefore I will struggle less” Conti stated, concluding with “Lastly we will choose the people who will lead alongside me. First the rules and the singers, then everything else will come.”
