On Sunday 2 June, the athletes of the Anzio Fencing Club competed with great determination at the SILVER Absolute Regional Championship in Fondi (LT). The competition saw the participation of eight fencers: Lorenzo Cafarotti, Pietro Marchesano Pace, Leo Ye, Andreas Stefanetti, Federico Mosconi, Matteo Di Noia, Adriano Raguzzi and Angelo Pepe.
All the athletes of the Circolo Scherma Anzio achieved excellent results in the group stage, demonstrating their high level of preparation and skill. The day then continued with live broadcasts, where our fencers were able to best express their technical and tactical skills.
Among all, Lorenzo Cafarotti particularly shone, managing to reach the final and taking second place. His performance was characterized by a combination of calm and strength, both on a physical, technical and mental level. Cafarotti was able to choose his moves wisely, avoiding hasty actions and always maintaining control of the match.
