Now after years of reports, findings, irregularities and violations of the highway code, requests, suggestions, all regularly unheeded by the mayor Cassì and the competent councilors, the Comibleo committee still issues press releases addressed to the administrators.
This time we are between the serious and the facetious, because from Comibleo they write that, at the end of March, the councilor for traffic and municipal police had publicly announced, not without a surge of pride, that the important interventions for the opening, 25 years after its construction, the underground car park in Largo San Paolo had been completed.
It is legitimate to predict the opening of the car park, but perhaps, since it is not specified, the councilor had not officially communicated it.
The joke is that at Comibleo they still haven’t understood the usual refrain: “we’re working, we’re thinking about it, we’re planning…”.
After two months from the councilor’s announcement, nothing and the tourist season is starting, Comibleo people are worried, even if they don’t understand the importance given to a structure that can accommodate few cars.
Even more moving when Comibleo deludes themselves into thinking they can understand what is happening around the multi-storey car park that should be built downhill from Peschiera.
Can’t even the city councilors who are not able to have the papers with normal access to the documents and would like to have the knowledge of the normal resident citizens gathered in a city committee fail to understand this?
But then, in Ibla there wasn’t a plebiscite consensus for the mayor Cassì? Aren’t Ibla an expert on the mayor and a couple of city councilors? Why not ask them, instead of wasting press releases?
