The management team of the Municipality of Quartu is strengthened with a new qualified manager. Nicola Carboni joins the municipal administration of via Porcu to deal with the Environment, Civil Protection and Ecological Transition Sector. It will be operational in the separate headquarters in via Colombo starting next Monday 10 June.
The municipal administration follows up on the council resolution approved for the purpose of updating the ‘Organisation and human capital – Strategic human resources planning’ section of the PIAO 2024/2026, which provides for a fixed-term managerial position pursuant to art. 110, and to the determination of approval of the public notice of comparative selection for the formation of a list of suitable candidates for the award of the same, with reference to the Environment, Civil Protection and Ecological Transition Sector.
Following the comparative selection, several candidates were found suitable. In consideration of the general principles that regulate the fiduciary nature of the role, in relation to the achievement of the general objectives of the Administration’s governance program, the role was assigned to Dr. Nicola Carboni.
Currently a Legal Officer in the Mobility and Road Sector of the Metropolitan City of Cagliari, with the role of Head of the Administrative and Accounting Service, Dr. Carboni has already held fixed-term managerial positions in the same body, both in the Strategic, Territorial and community projects, also with functions relating to sustainable development, environmental works and infrastructures, as well as the management of wildlife and Natura 2000 sites, both in the Environmental Protection Sector, with responsibilities relating to environmental authorizations regarding waste, atmospheric emissions , water discharges and the management of water and energy resources, as well as with the ownership of the technical and administrative procedures relating to the remediation of polluted sites and the Anti-Insect Centre.
Also to his credit is participation in various courses as a teacher and various publications, both articles and volumes relating to environmental issues, such as “The AIA integrated environmental authorization sanctioning system”, “The drawing of public waters” And “The abandonment of waste by private individuals: responsibility”.
The municipal administration wishes the new manager, who replaces Pierpaolo Fois, called to give his contribution to the Region by the recently installed council. Carboni will enter service on Monday 10 June
