Federal Technical Center Faenza. Operational agreement signed between FMI and Moto Club 04 Park

Work on the construction of the Federal Technical Center in Faenza is proceeding positively. On Thursday 30 May the Italian Motorcycle Federation and the Moto Club 04 Park signed the operational agreement which regulates the concession of the premises used as the FMI Technical Center within the Monte Coralli facility. Present at the historic track were the Deputy Mayor of Faenza, Andrea Fabbri, the FMI President Giovanni Copioli and Andrea Dovizioso representing the association.

This agreement translates in detail the general contents of the agreement signed in 2023 between the IMF and the Municipality of Faenza. The Federal Technical Center will consist of an office, a large classroom and a motorcycle shelter; it will be dedicated mainly to off-roading and will be used as a reference point both for the collegiate rallies of the Pata Talenti Azzurri and for the many educational projects of the FMI. Furthermore, the Federation will have the opportunity to use the track exclusively on several days so as to be able to develop initiatives on the field aimed in particular at the search for talent and young people.

Andrea Fabbri, Deputy Mayor of Faenza: “A new step forward, the one made in recent days, along the path for the realization of the Monte Coralli circuit project in Faenza, carried out by the municipal administration together with the new manager of the sports facility and the Italian Motorcycle Federation. This step is, for us, also a moment of great responsibility with respect to the objective we have set ourselves, that of completing the works in record time so as to be able to reap the opportunities for the territory that the project brings with it, both on the of motorsport but also in terms of tourist hospitality. I take this opportunity to thank the Italian Motorcycle Federation, which decided to create one of its centers in Faenza, the manager of the facility, the champion Andrea Dovizioso, who believed in the potential that the Monte Coralli circuit in Faenza can offer but also all the technicians, the staff of the Municipality and of the companies who are working tirelessly to achieve the common objective: to make Faenza and its territory increasingly welcoming and competitive”.

Giovanni Copioli, IMF President: “The operating agreement signed in recent days demonstrates the commitment of all parties involved in the realization of an ambitious project. I thank the Deputy Mayor of Faenza, Andrea Fabbri, and Andrea Dovizioso for their constant commitment in the broadest spirit of collaboration. The Federal Technical Center will be very important for the FMI and beyond: thanks to this structure we will get even closer to practitioners, enthusiasts and young people. The new building – located in a facility that has made the history of cross country and which at the same time is of the latest generation – will be a base for the organization of sporting, institutional and educational activities. There are all the conditions for the Center to be completed on time; once the works have been completed, we will make it operational as soon as possible with numerous activities aimed at the widest possible audience. We will continue to operate jointly with the Local Authorities and the track managers to make it increasingly a point of reference for the area”.
