The city of Manfredonia must seize the opportunity to strengthen the network of services for information, accompaniment and support for the activation of younger people created with the Galattica project – Rete Giovani Puglia, of the Puglia Region, and the ArciViceversa associations , POP_Officine Popolari and Back To the Future”. The candidate for councilor for the next administrative elections declares it, Matteo Gentile (PD).

“The news of new funds, amounting to 1.2 million euros, allocated by the Department of Economic Development to finance new Local Intervention Plans for a further 18 months, confirms the goodness of the intuition had by this alliance between active social subjects who it first promoted the recovery and redevelopment of a municipal asset, the former Fabbriche San Francesco, and then transformed it into an attractive and functional place for the promotion of a new youth subjectivity – he continues -. The shared objective is to accompany young people towards opportunities and experiences in the social, cultural, professional and civic participation fields, with the aim of promoting their autonomy, protagonism and active inclusion in the Manfredoni community”.

“This is how the former Fabbriche San Francesco have become a gravitational center of talents, who can finally make themselves recognised, get to know each other and create networks useful for mitigating the phenomenon of intellectual migration and laying the foundations for new entrepreneurial, social and cultural activities ”, he concludes.
