TERNI – Tentis Rebeca Maria of 3 BS, Corazzi Matteo and Palombi Edoardo of 4 A, Brunetti Matteo and Sgrigna Ettore of 5 A, Camuzzi Pietro of 5 E, Franceschini Yuri of 5 BS. They are the magnificent seven, belonging to the Donatelli high school in Terni, who managed to beat all the other students from Perugia, Terni and other Umbrian provinces on the occasion of the Danti 2024 prize, organized by the Mathematics department of the University of Perugia.

The team from the Terni scientific institute topped all the other teams with its 40 points out of 40. The boys, accompanied by professors Marco Quondamcarlo and Anna Ceravolo, went to the Department in Perugia for the award ceremony, but the judging commission had not anticipated the outcome of the test for the individual teams. After an anxious wait as the names of the teams in the ranking were scrolled through, the satisfaction was sky-high when they reached first position, the Donatelli boys discovered that they were the winners. The coordinator of the Danti Prize, Professor Giuliana Fatabbi, extended many compliments to the seven very precise students who provided all the required answers and reasons in a complete and rigorous manner.
