«We are all saddened by how it ended – we read on the social channels of the green and white number one -. We played two great matches but it wasn’t enough, many episodes were unfavorable to us and this, in a play-off semi-final, becomes decisive as it was. The awareness remains that we have put all our strength into accomplishing this feat. Sport teaches us that we don’t always succeed. This is not the time to talk about the future, about the choices we will be called to make. This, as mentioned, is the moment of bitterness. And yet, in the very aftermath of the defeat I feel the duty to thank everyone, to ideally embrace every Wolf fan, and to reassure the green and white people: we will try again next year with even more determinationwe will take advantage of the mistakes made and we will immediately get to work to plan the next championship with equal desire and renewed ambition.
We will once again do everything we can to try to bring the Avellino square back to where it deserves to be, having demonstrated this on and off the pitch throughout the entire season, we will do so with the pride of representing an entire people.
