Crotone, Abraham dispute. Workers in the square to collect electoral cards: “Help us, don’t vote: united we can make a difference”

CROTONE – The Abramo CC dispute is not a dispute that only affects almost 600 employees and their families, but involves the entire Crotone province. The economic impact following an unfortunate negative outcome of the dispute would be devastating and would produce a new exodus and an economic contraction on an already very poor reality.
For this reason, from Monday, and also in the next few days, the employees of Abramo CC will be in Piazza della Resistenza, in front of the Municipality of Crotone, to explain to the citizens the situation they are experiencing and ask for their help: hand over your voter card because, they wrote in their appeal “men and women without work are without dignity and without a future, and therefore devoid of real citizenship”.

The collection of electoral cards, in view of the Europeanserves to reiterate how much the employment problem worries the community.
Problem that should also concern you trade associations and the many committees that are continually born in the city. Abraham CC employees have confessed to feeling lonely, without support from that part of the province that represents the economy and which should be the first to be interested in a possible wholesale dismissal of almost six hundred people. Some traders, to tell the truth, have expressed solidarity and support for those who are protesting. But it’s not enough. “This fight must see us united, we ask you to be with us!” is the appeal of the employees who will continue the collection of voter cards on Tuesday 4 June.

For WINto demonstrate to government and from Tim that their choices risk killing the territory, there is a need to demonstrate unity and deliver to the prefect of Crotone the highest number of voter cards.
We invite everyone, citizens, trade associations, committees, anyone who cares about the future of the territory to stay with us in this fight. Let’s put our right/duty as citizens back in the hands of the Prefect and therefore of the State, because we feel we have already been de facto deprived of it” concludes the appeal.
