The Taranto coach would be a profile appreciated by president Nicola Canonico.
According to what I learned from South antenna, the dream for the Foggia bench would be Ezio Capuano. The coach is under contract with Taranto, so at the moment there can be no talk of an official rapprochement between the parties.
If Rossoneri president Canonico was keen to deny interest in sporting director Di Bari, the same cannot be said regarding Capuano’s name. The Apulian club and Capuano like each other. Foggia would certainly be an ideal place for the rossoblù coach.

The Rossoneri club will not start from Mirko Cudini who, in his second experience among the pros in Puglia after that of Andria, did not warm the hearts of the fans. Capuano arrived in Taranto in September 2022, succeeding Nello Di Costanzo and achieving the goal of salvation with the Ionian team with two matchdays to spare. The coach originally from Salerno, formerly of Messina, Potenza and Avellino among others, is under contract with Taranto being tied for another two seasons. A year ago, in fact, Capuano renewed with the Apulian club for another 3 seasons.
Foggia, the numbers and the performance of the Rossoneri
The season that has just ended was a rather complicated and up-and-down season for Foggia. After a rather positive start in the first 8 days of the championship where there were 4 wins, 3 draws and only one defeat (in Taranto on their debut), the Rossoneri then suffered a sharp decline from the end of October onwards. In fact, following the defeat of Crotone, another 4 came at the end of 2023, with just two successes as a backdrop. Against Monterosi and Messina. Regarding the technical guidance, Cudini was relieved of his duties, while the Coletti-Vacca duo were called to lead the team for 3 days, where however just as many defeats were recorded.
