The cycling group of the Polisportiva Banca CRAsti ASD will carry out the usual summer Tour from 6 to 9 June, this year called ‘From Oropa to Graglia, passing through the Oasi Zegna and Varallo: a celestial Tour’.

The Tour is spread over 4 stages for a total of 430 kilometres, tackling an altitude difference of more than 5,700 metres.
The first stage of 117 km will start from Asti in the morning and will arrive in the early afternoon at the Sanctuary of Oropa after having faced 1,890 meters of altitude difference, passing through Montechiaro, Montiglio, Cavagnolo, Lamporo, Borgo d’Ale, Cerrione, Biella and Favaro.
The second stage of 86 km and 1,340 meters of altitude difference, from Oropa, will end in Varallo Sesia, passing through Valle Cervo and the Oasi Zegna.

In the third stage from Varallo Sesia, the caravan will pass on the western shore of Lake Orta, crossing the Colma Pass, to reach the Graglia Sanctuary after 104 km and 1,610 meters of altitude difference.
In the last stage the cyclists, starting from Graglia passing over the Serra, will cross Ivrea and the Canavese and then return to the province of Asti from Casalborgone and Val Rilate covering a total of 125 km and 918 meters of altitude difference.

12 cyclists will participate in the initiative (Salvatore Aliotta, Franco Brigo, Sergio Donna, Claudio Giaretto, Fiorenzo Massano, Massimo Mossino, Franco Olivero, Mauro Squillari, Marco Tartaglino, Angelo Traversa, Giovanni Turello, Nunzio Vitellaro) accompanied and assisted as always by friends Gianfranco Ferrero and Sandro Gatti.”
