Turin, the update on the women’s weekend: results and rankings

The results of the Granata Women’s weekend

Two victories out of two during the weekend for the Granata women’s youth sector. The celebration explodes for the Under 19s, the last youth team in the running for the scudetto: it’s the semi-final after a resounding 12-0 win over Football Genoa. The Under 15 team, however, already certain of not qualifying for the quarter-finals, ended the season on a positive note. Below is the detailed report of the Women’s weekend.

UNDER 19: Winning, reconfirming and returning to fight for the championship again as reigning vice champions. The Granata Under 19 had a goal to chase and never took their eyes off the finish line. After having dominated the regional group without batting an eyelid, Toro entered the most delicate phase of the season with an even more cynical face. In the triangular round in which the quarterfinals were divided, the Granata only achieved victories. First the success on the debut away against Livorno with the result of 4-1, then the rest period and the last match against Football Genova, overwhelmed 12-0. Toro is first by detachment and flies to the semi-finals. Now the penultimate act in a single match against Real Meda. In the other semi-final Roma and JSL Women will clash.

UNDER 15: The season of the Granata Under 15s ends, as they fail to qualify for the quarterfinals but farewell with a victory. The Torelle faced Cremonese in the last match of the group and prevailed 2-0 thanks to goals from Aurora Gullo and Viola Rabbione. With this result, Toro does not place itself in the top 2 but closes by moving up the rankings and grabbing third place by overtaking Genoa.
