The BAT Province celebrated Republic Day with the traditional ceremony of awarding the Honors of Merit of the Italian Republic, granted by President Sergio Mattarella. There are 20 citizens of the sixth province of Puglia who have been awarded and who come from all over the territory. The ceremony was held inside the Curci Theater in Barletta, the last stage of a festive Sunday that began in the morning, in Andria, with the laying of the Crown in honor of the fallen of all wars. The national anthem was performed on the “Curci” stage by the wind orchestra of the students of the “Casardi” Music High School in Barletta. Then the reading of the message from the President of the Republic by the BAT Prefect Silvana D’Agostino. Its first Republic Day in the province of Barletta-Andria-Trani.
Finally, the delivery of the Honors of Merit of the Italian Republic: four assigned to citizens of Barletta, six to Trani, one for Andria, three for citizens of Bisceglie, two for Canosa di Puglia and Minervino Murge, one for Margherita di Savoia and Trinitapoli.
